Missing the "Tour"

While it's hard to have a bad time when on the water our day on board definitely did not go as expected. Wanted to provide some insight for others considering booking.
1. There is a mandatory 15% tip on the total price that is required to be paid before the actual excursion via Zelle. This is not advertised in the Viator post. Would have been nice to know this was required before services were provided.
2. On Viator, this is advertised as a "tour" so we anticipated that a good portion of the trip could be/would be a boat ride around Miami beach. We were surprised when the captain told us he could only take us a short distance from the marina and anchored us for ~3.5hrs of the 4hrs. When asked if he could drive around more since we didn't want to spend more time in the water were told No.
3. We were provided two captains' names the day before and had to blindly pick between the two, no background info provided when being asked to make a selection. Our captain seemed to have limited experience and was a bit unprofessional lingering with the girls on board. He ended up getting a rope stuck in the motor and we had to be towed in, getting stuck on the "tour" an extra hour in the rain.
Overall we still had a fun time but definitely a few things not as advertised or that we wish would have gone differently.
